Product Overview

The ACPL-021L-500E is a 1-channel 8-pin surface-mount low power optically-coupled logic gate digital CMOS Optocoupler for low isolation of high speed logic systems and ground loop elimination. The detector IC has CMOS output stage and optical receiver input stage with built-in Schmitt trigger to provide logic-compatible waveforms, eliminating the need for additional wave shaping. An internal shield on the ACPL-021L guarantees common mode transient immunity of 25kV/µs at a common-mode voltage of 1000V. It operates from a 2.7 to 5.5V supply with guaranteed AC and DC performance from an extended temperature range of -40 to 105°C. Glitches-free output upon power-up and power-down of optocoupler.
  • 1.1mA/channel Maximum low power supply current
  • 1.6mA Minimum low forward current
  • 200ns Maximum pulse width distortion
  • 220ns Maximum propagation delay skew
