Product Overview

The EE-SX1109 is a Transmissive Photomicrosensor with surface mount design. Photomicrosensor is a compact optical sensor that senses objects or object positions with an optical beam. Ultra-compact with a 6mm wide sensor and a 3mm wide slot. Compact size makes these sensors ideal for use in applications with restricted space. High-resolution sensing with phototransistor output. Dual channel model that is ideal for encoder applications. The transmissive photomicrosensor incorporates an emitter and a transmissive that face each other, when an object is located in the sensing position between the emitter and the detector, the object intercepts the optical beam of the emitter, thus reducing the amount of optical energy reaching the detector.
