Product Overview

The FLUKE 787B is a precision 1000V, 440mA true-RMS digital ProcessMeter. This ProcessMeter doubles troubleshooting capabilities by combining the power of a safety rated digital multimeter and mA loop calibrator into a single, compact test tool. It measures AC and DC volts, AC and DC current, resistance, continuity and frequency. The meter is designed in accordance with EN61010, ANSI/ISA S82.01-1994 and CAN/CSA C22.2 No. 61010.1-92 overvoltage CAT III. The ProcessMeter measures DC voltage (400.0mV, 4.000V, 40.00V, 400.0V, 1000V), AC (true-rms) voltage (400.0mV, 4.000V, 40.00V, 400.0V, 1000V), DC current in mA (30.000mA), DC current in Amps (1.000A (0.440A continuous)), AC current in Amps (1.000A (0.440A continuous)), resistance (400.0 ohm, 4.000K, 40.00K, 400.0K, 4.0M, 40M) and frequency (199.99Hz, 1999.9Hz, 19.999KHz).
  • Simultaneous mA and% of scale readout on mA output
  • 25% manual step plus auto step and auto ramp on mA output
  • Min/max/avg/hold/relative modes and manual step (100%, 25%, coarse, fine) plus auto step, auto ramp
  • Externally accessible battery for easy changes
  • 1000V CAT III, 600V CAT IV, UL, CSA and TUV approvals
  • 50mm x 100mm x 203mm (H x W x L) dimension, -20°C to 55°C operating temperature & weight is 600g
  • Fluke Connect compatibility for wireless data logging (with IR3000FC module)
  • Diode test and continuity beeper
  • 20mA DC current source/measure/simulate
  • 140hours typical (measurement), 10hours typical (sourcing 12mA) battery life
