Product Overview
ADG704 is a CMOS analogue multiplexer comprising four single channels. This multiplexer is designed on an advanced submicron process that provides low power dissipation yet gives high switching speed, low on resistance, low leakage currents and high bandwidths. The on-resistance profile is very flat over the full analogue signal range. This ensures excellent linearity and low distortion when switching audio signals. Fast switching speed also makes the part suitable for video signal switching. This device switches one of four inputs to a common output, D, as determined by the 3-bit binary address lines, A0, A1 and EN. A logic “0” on the EN pin disables the device. Each switch of the device conducts equally well in both directions when ON. It exhibits break-before-make switching action. It is widely used in application such as battery powered systems, communication systems, sample-and-hold systems, audio signal routing, data acquisition system, video switching etc.

- On-resistance is 2.5ohm typ at (VS = 0V to VDD, IDS = -10mA, VDD = +5V ±10%)
- Low on-resistance flatness is 0.75 ohm typ at (VS = 0V to VDD, IDS = -10mA, VDD = +5V ±10%)
- Rail-to-rail operation, TTL/CMOS compatible
- tON is 14ns typ at (RL = 300 ohm, CL = 35pF)
- tOFF is 6ns typ at (RL = 300 ohm, CL = 35pF)
- Power consumption is <lt/>0.01mW typical
- Channel-to-channel crosstalk is -62dB typ at (RL = 50 ohm, CL = 5pF, f = 10MHz, VDD = +5V 6 ±10%)
- Operating temperature is -40°C to +85°C
- Package style is 10-lead µSOIC
