Product Overview
The ADM00811 from Microchip is a MIC7400 5 buck 1 boost programming regulator evaluation broad. MIC7400 evaluation board was developed to evaluate the capabilities of the MIC7400 power management integrated circuit (PMIC). The device features 5 DC to DC buck converter capable of delivering 3A each and a boost converter with a 200mA current capability and I2C programmable output voltages. The MIC7400 evaluation board also features the MCP2221 USB to I2C bridge that enables direct communication and programming functionality by connecting the MIC7400 to the Graphic User's Interface (GUI).
- Input voltage range from 2.4V to 5.5V
- Thermal shutdown and current limit protection
- 200μA quiescent current (all regulators on)
- 93% peak buck efficiency, 85% typical efficiency at 1mA
- Stand-by and normal mode dual power mode
- I2C interface up to 3.4MHz, I2C on the fly EEPROM programmability
- MCP2221 USB to I2C bridge for easy GUI communication
- 23μA buck typical quiescent current, 70μA boost typical quiescent current
- 1.5% output accuracy over temperature/line/load
- 2MHz boost switching frequency, 1.3MHz buck operation in continuous mode
