Product Overview
The ADM00824 from Microchip is a MIC2875/76 high current synchronous boost regulator. The MIC2875/76 2MHz synchronous boost converter evaluation board is used to evaluate and demonstrate Microchip Technology’s MIC2875/76 products. The board can be used for an input voltage between 2.5V and 5.5V. It features over current and overvoltage protection, UVLO, bidirectional true load disconnect and bypass mode. It is a compact design, following all MIC2875/76 application recommendations. Two jumpers are used to pull the EN and PG voltage levels to VIN through pull-up resistors. The board is configured for a 5V default output voltage. To change the output voltage, the feedback resistor divider must be re-dimensioned using the datasheet recommendations. Both MIC2875 and MIC2876 can be populated on the same evaluation board. For MIC2875, the frequency in pulse skipping mode is limited to 45KHz, to avoid the audio band interferences.
