Product Information
Product Overview
The TG1006 uses DDS frequency generation to provide greater accuracy and stability, and to cover a wider frequency range. DDS (direct digital synthesis) is a technique for generating waveforms digitally using a phase accumulator, a look-up table and a DAC. The accuracy and stability of the resulting waveforms is related to that of the crystal master clock. When correctly engineered, the DDS generator offers not only exceptional accuracy and stability but also high spectral purity, low phase noise and excellent frequency agility.
- 0.001Hz to 10MHz frequency range using DDS
- 6 digits or 1mHz setting resolution
- 1ppm stability and <lt/>10 ppm absolute accuracy for one year
- Sine, square and triangle waveforms
- Low distortion, high spectral purity sine waves
- Simultaneous display of frequency and amplitude/offset
- External seven digit 120MHz frequency counter
- Internal full range phase continuous sweep, linear or log
- Unique manual sweep mode for quasi-analog control
- Modulations modes of AM, FSK and frequency list
- 2mV to 20V pk-pk output from 50Ω or 600Ω
- Storage for up to ten frequencies in non-volatile memory
