The 132-2801-064 is a 64-core 32-pair unshielded twist N Flat Cable with tinned copper conductor and a PVC insulator. It combines the time saving of mass termination with the electrical performance of twisted pair, making it ideal for high speed communication equipment. Labour saving of up to 95% as compared to automatic strip and crimp termination are readily achieved. It consists of stranded round conductors insulated with colour coded PVC, twisted into pairs and laminated between layers of PVC film to form a planar cable. The twist in adjacent pairs is reversed to reduce cable crosstalk even further. Flat section can be made longer to allow room for multiple connectors. The lamination can be fabricated loose at specified points to provide easy access to individual conductors. It feature double-sided lamination provides excellent conductor strain relief and mass termination from either side of cable.
