Product Overview
AD5762R is a dual, 16bit, serial input, bipolar voltage output DAC that operates from supply voltages of ±11.4 to ±16.5V. Nominal full-scale output range is ±10V. It provides integrated output amplifiers, reference buffers, and proprietary power-up/power-down control circuitry. The device also features a digital input/output port, programmed via the serial interface, and an analogue temperature sensor. The device incorporates digital offset and gain adjust registers per channel. During power-up when the supply voltages are changing, VOUTx is clamped to 0V via a low impedance path. Application includes industrial automation, open-loop/closed-loop servo control, process control, data acquisition systems, automatic test equipment, automotive test and measurement, high accuracy instrumentation.

- Integrated reference buffers, internal reference is +5V
- On-chip die temperature sensor, output control during power-up/brownout
- Programmable short-circuit protection, simultaneous updating via LDAC (active low)
- Asynchronous CLR (active low) to zero code, digital offset and gain adjust
- Logic output control pins, DSP-/microcontroller-compatible serial interface
- 32 lead TQFP package, operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C
