Product Overview
AD7943BNZ is a fast 12bit multiplying DAC that operates from a single +5V supply (normal mode) and a single +3.3V to +5V supply (biased mode). The AD7943 has a serial interface. It will replace the industry-standard AD7543, in many applications, and it offers superior speed and power consumption performance. It is used in applications such as battery-powered instrumentation, and laptop computers.
- Relative accuracy is ±1LSB maximum at (VDD = +3V to +5.5V)
- Differential nonlinearity is ±0.9LSB maximum at (VDD = +3V to +5.5V)
- Gain temperature coefficient is 2ppm FSR/°C typical at (VDD = +3V to +5.5V)
- Gain error is ±3LSB maximum at (+25°C, VDD = +3V to +5.5V)
- VDD range from 3V to 5.5V, input resistance is 6Kohm minimum at (VDD = +4.5V to +5.5V)
- Output voltage settling time 600ns typical at (VDD = +4.5V to +5.5V)
- Digital to analogue glitch impulse is 60nV-s typical at (VDD = +4.5V to +5.5V)
- Total harmonic distortion is -83dB typical at (VDD = +4.5V to +5.5V)
- Output noise spectral density is 35nV/√Hz typical at (1KHz, VDD = +4.5V to +5.5V)
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C, 16-lead plastic DIP package
