Product Overview
ADIS16446 is a iSensor® device. It is a complete inertial system that includes a triaxial gyroscope, a triaxial accelerometer, and a temperature sensor. Each sensor in the device combines industry-leading iMEMS® technology with signal conditioning that optimizes dynamic performance. The factory calibration characterizes each sensor for sensitivity, bias, and alignment. As a result, each sensor has its own dynamic compensation formulas that provide accurate sensor measurements. It provides a simple, cost-effective method for integrating accurate multiaxis inertial sensing into industrial systems, especially when compared with the complexity and investment associated with discrete designs. All necessary motion testing and calibration are part of the production process at the factory, greatly reducing system integration time. It is used in application such as platform stabilization and control, navigation, robotics etc.
- Triaxial digital gyroscope with digital range scaling is ±250°/sec, ±500°/sec, ±1000°/sec settings
- Gyroscopes misalignment is ±0.05° typ at (TA = 25°C), 2000g mechanical shock survivability
- Accelerometer dynamic range is ±18g min at (TA = 25°C), single command self test
- Autonomous operation and data collection, single-supply operation is 3.15V to 3.45V
- Power-on start-up time is 205ms typical, factory calibrated sensitivity, bias, and axial alignment
- SPI-compatible, optional burst read sequence for fast data transfer, embedded temperature sensor
- Programmable operation and control, automatic and manual bias correction controls
- Bartlett window FIR length, number of taps
- Alarms for condition monitoring, optional external sync input clock upto 1.1KHz
- Operating temperature is -40°C to +105°C, package style is 20-lead module with connector interface
