Product Overview
ADUM160N is a 6-channel digital isolator. It is based on analog devices, Inc., icoupler®technology. Combining high speed, complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) and monolithic air core transformer technology, this isolation component provide outstanding performance characteristics superior to alternatives such as optocoupler devices and other integrated couplers. It provides compatibility with lower voltage systems as well as enabling voltage translation functionality across the isolation barrier. It is certified by UL recognition: 3000V rms for 1minute per UL 1577, CSA component acceptance notice 5A, VDE certificate of conformity, DIN V VDE V 0884-10 (VDE V 0884-10):2006-12, VIORM = 565V peak, CQC certification per GB4943.1-2011. This digital isolator is widely used in application such as general-purpose multichannel isolation, serial peripheral interface (SPI)/data converter isolation, industrial field bus isolation etc.

- 1.8V to 5V level translation, 150Mbps maximum guaranteed data rate
- Low propagation delay is 13ns max for 5V operation and 15ns max for 1.8V operation
- Operating supply voltage range is 1.7V to 5.5V
- Quiescent supply current is 2.3mA at VI5 = 0(N0), 1(N1)6, TA = 25°C, VDD1 = VDD2 = 5V
- No of inputs on VDD1 side is 6, no of inputs on VDD2 side is 0
- Withstand voltage rating is 3.0kV rms, fail-safe output state is low
- Operating temperature range is −40°C to +125°C, package style is 16-lead SOIC-N
