Product Overview
ADXRS645 is a high temperature, high-performance angular rate sensor with excellent vibration immunity for use in high-temperature environments. It is manufactured using Analog Devices, Inc., a patented high-volume BiMOS surface-micromachining process with years of proven field reliability. An advanced, differential, quad sensor design provides superior acceleration and vibration rejection. The output signal, RATE OUT, is a voltage proportional to the angular rate about the axis normal to the package lid. The output is ratiometric with respect to a provided reference supply. Other external capacitors are required for operation. Temperature output is provided for compensation techniques. Application includes down hole measurements for geological exploration, extreme high temperature industrial applications, severe mechanical environments.

- Long life guaranteed 1000 hours at TA=175°C
- High vibration rejection over a wide frequency, 10000g powered shock survivability
- Ratiometric to referenced supply, 5V single-supply operation
- Self-test on digital command, temperature sensor output
- Typical rate noise density is 0.25°/sec/√Hz (TA ≤ 25°C, TA=25°C, VS=AVCC=VDD=5V, VRATIO=AVCC)
- Typical resolution floor is 100°/hr (TA=25°C, 1 minute to 1 hour in-run)
- Typ bandwidth is 2000Hz (no external filter), max current drive is 200µA (for rated specifications)
- Temperature rating range from -40°C to +175°C
- 15-lead ceramic DIP vertical form package
