Product Information
Product Overview
DC821A is a demonstration circuit featuring the LTC®5533 precision dual RF power detector. The LTC5533 is a dual channel RF power detector for RF applications operating in the 300MHz to 11GHz range. Two independent temperature compensated Schottky diode peak detectors and buffer amplifiers are combined in a small 4mm x 3mm DFN package. The RF input voltage is peak detected using on-chip Schottky diodes. The detected voltage is buffered and supplied to the VOUT pins. A power saving shut down mode reduces current to less than 2µA/channel. The initial output starting voltages of 130mV±35mV can be precisely adjusted using the VOS pins.
- VCC operating voltage range from 2.7V to 6V
- 0.45mA Ivcc operating current, per channel, IVOUT = 0mA
- 0.01µA IVCC shutdown current, per channel, (active low)SHDN = LO
- 0.35V max (active low) SHDN voltage, chip disabled at VCC = 2.7V to 6V
- RFIN input power range from -32dBm to 12dBm at RF frequency = 300MHz to 7GHz, VCC = 2.7V to 6V
- 45dB channel to channel isolation at f = 2GHz
- VOS input current range from -0.5µA to 0.5µA at VOS = 1V
- 4mA VOUT output current at VOUT = 1.75V, VCC = 2.7V, ∆VOUT < 10mV
- 33pF max VOUT load capacitance
- 3V/µs VOUT slew rate VRFIN = 1V Step, CLOAD = 33pF, RLOAD = 2Kohm
