Product Overview
HMC129ALC4 is a general-purpose, double-balanced monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) mixer. It can be used as an upconverter or downconverter in the 4GHz to 8GHz band. It is ideally suited for applications where small size, no dc bias, and consistent IC performance are required. This mixer can operate over a wide LO drive input of 9dBm to 18dBm. It performs equally well as a biphase modulator or demodulator. It eliminates the need for wire bonding, allowing use of surface-mount manufacturing techniques. It is widely used in applications such as microwave and very small aperture terminal (VSAT) radios, test equipment, military electronic warfare (EW); electronic countermeasure (ECM); and command, control, communications and intelligence (C3I) etc.
- Conversion loss is 7dB typical at (TA = 25°C, IF = 100MHz)
- Single sideband (SSB) noise figure is 7dB typical at (TA = 25°C, IF = 100MHz)
- Input third-order intercept (IIP3) is 17dB typical at (TA = 25°C, IF = 100MHz)
- Input 1dB compression point (IP1dB) is 10dB typical at (TA = 25°C, IF = 100MHz)
- LO to RF isolation is 40dB typical at (TA = 25°C, IF = 100MHz)
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C
- Package style is 24-terminal ceramic LCC
