Product Overview
HMC560ALM3 is a chip is a general-purpose, double balanced mixer that can be used as an upconverter or downconverter from 22GHz to 38GHz in a small chip area. This mixer requires no external component or matching circuitry. This provides excellent local oscillator (LO) to radio frequency (RF) and LO to intermediate frequency (IF) suppression due to optimized balun structures. The mixer operates with LO drive levels above 9dBm. Application includes point to point radios, point to multipoint radios and very small aperture terminal (VSAT) radios, test equipment and sensors, military end use.
- Downconverter, conversion loss is 10dB (typ, TA = 25°C, IF = 1GHz)
- Radio frequency range from 22 to 29GHz (TA = 25°C, IF = 1GHz)
- Intermediate frequency is dc 18GHz (max, TA = 25°C, IF = 1GHz)
- Noise figure is 10.5dB (typ, TA = 25°C, IF = 1GHz)
- Isolation is 34dB (typ, LO to RF, TA = 25°C, IF = 1GHz)
- Input third order intercept is 20dBm (typ, TA = 25°C, IF = 1GHz)
- Input power 1dB compression is 9dBm (typ, P1dB, TA = 25°C, IF = 1GHz)
- Conversion loss is 10dB (typ, TA = 25°C, IF = 1GHz)
- Return loss is 7dB (typ, RF, TA = 25°C, IF = 1GHz)
- 6 terminal LGA-CAV package, operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C
