Product Overview
LTC3458L is a high efficiency, current mode, fixed frequency, step up DC/DC converter with true output disconnect and inrush current limiting. This device is rated for upto 6V output and includes a 0.2ohm N-channel MOSFET switch and a 0.3ohm P-channel MOSFET synchronous rectifier. It is well suited for battery powered applications and includes programmable output voltage, switching frequency and loop compensation. The oscillator frequency can be set upto 1MHz or synchronized to an external clock. The Burst mode current threshold, peak current limit, and soft start are externally programmable. Other features include <lt/>1μA shutdown current, antiringing control, and thermal limit. It is used in application such as point-of-load regulators, USB VBUS power, portable GPS, MP3 players etc.

- Error amplifier sink current is 7μA typical at (TA = 25°C, VIN = 3.3V)
- Operating temperature is -40°C to 85°C
- Package style is 12-lead plastic DFN
