Product Overview
The MAX871EUK+T is a switched capacitor voltage inverter in 5 pin SOT-23 package. This monolithic, CMOS charge pump inverter accepts input voltages ranging from +1.4V to +5.5V and operates at 500KHz. Its high efficiency and low operating current make this device ideal for both battery-powered and board-level voltage-conversion applications. Oscillator control circuitry and four power MOSFET switches are included on-chip. A typical MAX871 application is generating a -5V supply from a +5V logic supply to power analogue circuitry. It can deliver 25mA with a voltage drop of 500mV. This device is used in small LCD panels, cell phones, medical instruments, handy-terminals, PDAs and battery-operated equipment.
