Product Overview

The BK1902B from B&K Precision is a 1900B series laboratory grade high power switching DC power supply with high current output in a small form factor and lightweight package. The 1900B series provide various configurations of high output voltage or high output current and feature rotary encoder control knobs which makes setting voltage and current fast and precise. Its dual action push button allows user to set both coarse and fine, voltage and current levels. In addition to constant voltage and constant current modes device offers a unique solution with its preset and remote control modes. Save up to 3 different presets of voltage and current values for quick recall. The remote control function allows output power, voltage and current to be adjusted without touching front panel. A remote sensing terminal is also available to compensate for voltage drop across load leads. It is suitable for a wide range of applications including telecommunications and university labs.
  • Automatic CV/CC crossover operation, remote control function
  • Rotary encoder control for precise voltage and current setting
  • 100 to 120VAC 60Hz input voltage, efficiency is 87% (110VAC)
  • Variable output voltage range from 1V to 32V, switching frequency range from 75KHz to 95KHz
  • Variable output current range from 0A to 15A, auxiliary output current is 5A
  • Voltage regulation is <=50mV (load), <=20mV (line) & current regulation is <=100mA (line), <=50mA (load)
  • Overvoltage, overtemperature and overload protection
  • 3digit LED display ±0.2% accuracy + 3 counts, dimensions is 200mm x 90mm x 275mm (W x H x D)
  • Thermostatically controlled fan from zero to full speed, 1.5ms transient response time
  • Operating temperature 32°F to 104°F (0°C to 40°C), <=80% RH

Before connecting the line cord to AC mains, check rear panel AC line voltage indicator. Applying a line voltage other than indicated voltage can destroy AC line fuses.


The device can be damaged by ESD. To avoid damage, be sure to follow proper procedures for handling, storing, transporting parts & subassemblies which contain ESD sensitive components.
