Product Overview
8132 is a 2-pair, grey, low capacitance, EIA RS-232/485 computer cable with foam polyethylene insulation, tinned copper conductors, tinned copper drain wire and PVC jacket. The computer cable features Beldfoil® aluminium foil-polyester tape with shorting fold (100% coverage) + tinned copper braid (65% coverage) outer shield. Suitable applications include RS-232 extended distance applications, RS-485 applications, computer communications, low voltage analogue signals (4-20ma, 0-10V, ...), low voltage digital control (24V, …), line level audio, panel wiring.
