Product Overview
ACFL-3161T-000E is an automotive R²Coupler™ 10A peak basic gate drive optocoupler for SiC MOSFET/IGBT. It comes in a compact, surface-mountable SO-12 package for space savings. It provides an isolation voltage of 5k VRMS between input and output channels. The ACFL-3161T is primarily designed with high peak driving current capability to ensure optimum performance for direct driving SiC MOSFET or IGBT in various applications. The ACFL-3161T features fast propagation delay and tight dead time distortion, which make it ideal for driving SiC MOSFET and IGBT at high-frequency DC-DC and AC-DC converters. This R²Coupler™ isolation product provides reinforced insulation and reliability that deliver safe signal isolation critical in automotive and high-temperature industrial applications. Regulatory approvals include UL1577 5kVRMS for 1 min, CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 62368-1, IEC 60747-5-5 VIORM = 1230 VPEAK.

- Output rise time (20% to 80%) is 7ns typical
