Product Overview
AP4310AMTR-G1 is a monolithic IC specifically designed to regulate the output current and voltage levels of switching battery chargers and power supplies. The device contains two op amps and a 2.5V precision shunt voltage reference. Op amp 1 is designed for voltage control with its noninverting input internally connected to the output of the shunt regulator. Op amp 2 is for current control with both inputs uncommitted. The IC offers the power converter designer a control solution that features increased precision with a corresponding reduction in system complexity and cost. Applications include battery charger and switching power supply.
- Supply voltage range from 3 to 36V
- Total supply current, excluding current in voltage ref is 0.15mA (VCC=5V, no load, -40°C≤TA≤105°C)
- Reference voltage is 2.50V typ at TA=+25°C, IK=10mA
- Reference voltage deviation over full temperature range is 5mV typ at IK=10mA, TA= -40°C to +105°C
- Minimum cathode current for regulation is 0.01mA typ at VCC=5V, TA=+25°C
- Input offset voltage is 0.5mV typ at TA=+25°C, VCC=5V, VO=1.4V
- Input offset voltage temperature drift is 7μV/°C typ at TA=-40°C to +105°C
- Unity gain bandwidth is 1.0MHz typ at VCC=30V, RL=2kohm, CL=100pF
