Product Overview
AS78L05RTR-G1 is a three terminal positive regulator that is designed for a wide variety of applications including local, on-card regulation. It is complete with internal current limiting, thermal shutdown protection, and safe-area compensation which makes it virtually immune from output overload. Typical applications include consumer electronics, microprocessor power supplies, mother boards.
- Output voltage accuracy of ±5% over the full temperature range
- Internal short circuit current limiting, internal thermal overload protection
- No external components, output transistor safe-area protection
- Input voltage is 30V maximum
- Output voltage is 5.25V max at 7V ≤ VIN ≤ 20V, 1mA ≤ IOUT ≤100mA, PD ≤ 0.75W
- Quiescent current is 3mA typ at VIN=10V, IOUT=40mA, CIN=0.33µF, COUT=0.1µF, TJ=+25°C
- Ripple rejection is 62dB typ at f=120Hz, 8V ≤ VIN ≤ 18V
- Output voltage temperature coefficient is 84ppm/°C typ at IOUT=5mA, VIN=10V, TJ=+25°C
- SOT-89 package
- Temperature range from -40 to +125°C
