HI-6421P-02 is an advanced benchtop dissolved oxygen meter with a large touchscreen display, designed for accurate dissolved oxygen measurements in freshwater and saltwater applications. It includes the HI764833 polarographic dissolved oxygen probe, featuring a slim design that is ideal for test tubes and Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD) bottles. The probe incorporates a built-in thermistor temperature sensor for automatic temperature compensation and provides fast, accurate, and flow-independent readings. Its durable platinum cathode and Ag/AgCl anode assembly ensure reliable performance, while oxygen-permeable PTFE screw-on membrane caps filled with electrolyte are easy to install and replace. The meter automatically compensates measurements for barometric pressure and temperature, while salinity compensation is achieved by entering the sample's salinity value. Ideal for laboratory, environmental, and water quality monitoring applications.
