CY14MB064Q2A-SXQ is a CY14MB064Q2A 64Kbit (8K × 8) SPI nvSRAM with extended temperature. The embedded non-volatile elements incorporate the QuantumTrap technology, creating the world’s most reliable non-volatile memory. The SRAM provides infinite read and write cycles, while the QuantumTrap cells provide highly reliable non-volatile storage of data. Data transfers from SRAM to the non-volatile elements (STORE operation) takes place automatically at power-down. On power-up, data is restored to the SRAM from the non-volatile memory (RECALL operation). User can also initiate the STORE and RECALL operations through SPI instruction.
- 64-Kbit non-volatile static random access memory (nvSRAM) internally organized as 8K × 8
- RECALL to SRAM initiated on power-up (power-up RECALL) or by SPI instruction (software RECALL)
- Support automatic STORE on power-down with a small capacitor
- High reliability, infinite read, write, and RECALL cycles
- STORE cycles to QuantumTrap, 1000K cycles at 85°C, 200K cycles at 105°C
- High speed serial peripheral interface, 40MHz clock rate SPI write and read with zero cycle delay
- Supports SPI mode 0 (0, 0) and mode 3 (1, 1), SPI access to special functions
- Software protection using write disable instruction
- VCC = 2.7V to 3.6V operating voltage, 8-pin SOIC (with VCAP) package
- Extended temperature range from –40°C to +105°C
