Product Overview
The MAX452CPA+ is a CMOS video multiplexer/amplifier in 8 pin DIP package. This unit-gain stable, 50MHz video amplifier capable of driving a 75ohm load directly. It operate from ±5V supplies and typically consume only 250mW. It is optimized for video applications and amplifier will directly drive a 150 ohm to ±2V and will swing ±1V into 75ohm loads. This unit-gain stable amplifier do not require external frequency compensation components. This act as positive-gain amplifier and gain being set by two external resistors, since it is connected as non inverting amplifier, its minimum closed-loop gain is 0dB. In most applications amplifier's closed loop gain will be set at 0dB or +6dB (1V/V or 2V/V), which gives a minimum bandwidth of 25MHz. It is used in 75ohm cable drivers, driving flash converters, video crosspoint switches.
