Product Information
Product Overview
The AC162049 universal programming module(UPM) is a handy, low cost tool to support programming of flash based microcontroller DIP packaged products using the MPLAB ICD 2 In Circuit Debugger. It can also be connected to the PICSTART Plus, allowing programming of parts previously unsupported due to pin configuration issues.
- The ZIF socket will support 18, 28 and 40 pin DIP packaged devices
- Seven jumpers that must be connected to the two 20 pin headers marked 1 through 40
- Led 1 will illuminate whenever programming activity occurs on the board
- After MPLAB IDE acknowledges programming is complete, remove power from board and unlock ZIF socket
Applications
Embedded Design & Development
