Product Overview
EVCS1826-Q-31-00A is an evaluation board designed to demonstrate the capabilities of the MCS1826. The MCS1826 is a series of linear hall-effect current sensors for AC or DC current-sensing with integrated over-current detection (OCD). The Hall array is differential which cancels out stray magnetic fields. The output voltage (VOUT) is proportional to the applied current flowing through the primary conductor. The galvanic isolation between the primary conductive path pins and the sensor leads allow the MCS1826 to replace optoisolators or other expensive isolation devices.
- Supply voltage (VCC) range from 3V to 5.5V and 120kHz bandwidth
- ±31A rated primary current
- Typical Sensitivity (mV/A) is 13.6 x VCC
- Total accuracy is ±5% at IP = IP-MAX
- MCS1826 is available in an ultra-small TQFN-12 (3mmx3mm) package
- Active low OCD trigger point is ±31A
- <15% active-low over current detection (OCD) error
- Output Voltage (VOUT) proportional to AC or DC currents
- Ratiometric VOUT from VCC supply, factory-trimmed for accuracy, no magnetic hysteresis
- Immune to all external gradient magnetic fields by differential sensing
