Product Overview

The DF45S024050-A2 is a 3-phase Flat Brushless DC Motor with 16-pole external rotor for smooth running and a long service life. The high energy permanent magnets allow high acceleration and speeds of up to 14000rpm with exceptional efficiency. The rotor position is reported electronically using three hall sensors offset by 120°. Optional encoders with up to 1000pulses/rev. allow high-resolution position controlling. The permanent magnets are located on the rotor bell revolving around the internal stator with the windings. In addition to the shorter design, the advantage of this construction compared to internal rotor motors comes from having the same output with a lower torque ripple due to the rotor's higher inertia torque.
