Product Overview
FS26 safety SBC evaluation board provides easy customer development of the FS26 device family. It's targeting 12V automotive applications. The tool can be used in a standalone mode and controlled with an USB interface. SPI command is easily controlled by NXP GUI software. The FS26 family can be evaluated with this board as it is populated with a superset part. The FS26xx part soldered on the board can be fused one time or it is possible to test as many configurations as needed in Emulation mode. Suitable for battery management system, body controller unit, on-board charger, Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) applications.
- FRDM-KL25Z MCU plugged allows USB connection for easy connection to SW GUI and for register access
- VBAT power supply connectors (Jack and Phoenix)
- VPRE output capability up to 2A
- VBOOST in Independent mode or in Front-end topology to support battery cranking profiles
- VCORE up to 1.5A peak
- FS0B, FS1b external safety pins
- Supports debug mode access, connectors allowing easy access to digital signals
- Supports manual or automated OTP fuse programming
- LEDs that indicate signal or regulator status
- Analog variable resistor to test external VMON
