Product Overview
MC9S12DT256MPVE is a S12D 16bit microcontroller (MCU). The MC9S12D has full 16bit data paths throughout. However, the external bus can operate in an 8bit narrow mode so single 8bit wide memory can be interfaced for lower cost systems. The system resource mapping, clock generation, interrupt control and bus interfacing are managed by the System Integration Module (SIM). Applications include automotive, industrial, mobile, smart city, and smart home.

- Interrupt stacking and programmer's model identical to M68HC11
- Two 8-channel, 10-bit analogue-to-digital converters (ADC), 8-channel IC/OC enhanced capture timer
- 8-channel pulse-width modulator (PWM), 20 discrete digital I/O lines, inter-IC bus
- Instruction pipe, enhanced indexed addressing
- A PLL circuit allows power consumption and performance to be adjusted
- Upward compatible with M68HC11 instruction set
- 256KB flash, 12KB RAM, 4KB EEPROM, 50MHz maximum operating frequency
- Ambient operating temperature range from -40 to 125°C
- LQFP112 package
