Product Overview
C8051F960-B-GQ is an ultra-low power high-efficiency battery-powered metering microcontroller (MCU) designed from the ground up to seamlessly incorporate with our EZRadioPRO® sub-GHz transceivers. The MCU features a powerful 8051 core with 25MHz performance along with 128KB flash, 8KB RAM and a 12bit, 16-ch., 75Ksps ADC in a 12x12 mm QFP80 package. With an on-chip dc-dc buck converter, integrated 128 segment LCD driver and hardware AES encryption, this is ideal for security systems, monitors, sensors and metering applications.
- Ultra low power consumption at 3.6V, 600nA sleep mode with SmaRTClock (ext. crystal)
- On-chip voltage reference; 0.5x gain allows measuring voltages up to twice the reference voltage
- Programmable hysteresis and response time, configurable as wake-up or reset source comparators
- Up to ±500μA; source and sink capability, enhanced resolution via PWM interpolation
- LCD controller consumes only 400nA for 32-segment static display
- DC-DC buck converter allows dynamic voltage scaling for maximum efficiency (250mW output)
- Pipelined instruction architecture; executes 70% of instructions in 1 or 2 system clocks
- Hardware SMBus™ (I2C™ Compatible), 2 x SPI™, and UART serial ports available concurrently
- On-chip debug circuitry facilitates full-speed, nonintrusive in-system debug (no emulator required)
- Temperature rating range from -40 to +85°C
