The Startech ICUSB234858I is an industrial serial hub that allows you to add eight RS232/422/485 ports to your computer through a single USB connection. Ideally suited for compatibility with a wide range of serial devices, the hub supports four operating modes: RS232, RS422, 4-wire and 2-wire RS485. The rugged IP30-rated housing is designed for harsh environments and provides 15kV ESD protection, ensuring stable performance when you need it most. The versatile housing is designed for flexible mounting options, and can be installed to a desk, wall or DIN rail and comes complete with a screw-lock USB cable. Designed to connect industrial equipment to almost any terminal, the hub supports current and legacy Windows, Linux, macOS systems, as well as embedded platforms.
