Product Overview
The 1.5KE47A from Taiwan Semiconductor is a 1.5KE series unidirectional transient voltage suppressor in DO-201 package. It has excellent clamping capability and low dynamic impedance. The leads are pure tin plated and solderable per JESD22-B102. It also meets JESD 201 class 2 whisker test.
- UL recognized (file number E-326243), flammability rating meets UL94 V-0
- Peak power dissipation of 1500W at TA = 25°C, TP = 1ms and nominal voltage of 47V
- Peak forward surge current (Ifsm) of 200A (8.3ms single half sine wave super imposed on rated load)
- Steady state power dissipation of 5W at TL = 75°C
- Operating junction temperature range from -55°C to +175°C
- Stand-off voltage of 40.2V and maximum reverse leakage current of 1μA
- Breakdown voltage of 44.7V (minimum), 49.4V (maximum) and test current of 1mA
- 24A maximum peak surge current and 64.8V maximum clamping voltage
- Less than 1ps fast response time from 0V to VBR and 0.101%/°C maximum temperature variation
- Maximum instantaneous forward voltage of 3.5V at 50A
