Product Overview
OPL530 is a Photologic® sensor. This series include a photodiode, amplifier, voltage regulator, Schmitt trigger and NPN output transistor on a single silicon chip. This series has a Photologic® chip that is encapsulated in a moulded plastic side-looking package with an integral lens. It provides enhanced optical coupling, combined with mechanical protection. The hysteresis characteristics of the Schmitt trigger on each device offers high immunity to noise on input and VCC. It is used in applications such as non-contact reflective object sensor, assembly line automation, machine automation, machine safety, end of travel sensor, door sensor.

- Supply current is 5mA typical at (TA = 25°C)
- Temperature co-efficient is -0.6%/° C typical at (TA = 25°C)
- Output rise time is 1500ns typical at (EE = 0 or 1mW/cm2, CL = 50pF, 10K P.U.)
- Propagation delay is 1µs typical at (EE = 0 or 1mW/cm2, RL = 300 ohm to 5V, CL = 50pF)
